We’re excited to share that Howzat Cricket Magazine for Kids has recently been featured on two BBC radio shows – spreading the word about our mission to inspire the next generation of cricket lovers.
🎙️ BBC Radio Leeds – Yorkshire Cricket Show
On the Yorkshire Cricket Show (from 36:10 onwards), George Davis and Dom McMullan joined the conversation to talk about how Howzat brings the game to life for young fans. From fun puzzles and quizzes to exclusive interviews with stars of the game, they explained why it’s the only cricket magazine made especially for kids aged 7–12.
🎙️ BBC Radio Essex – Around the Wicket
They also appeared on Around the Wicket on BBC Radio Essex (from 50:00 onwards). George and Dom discussed how Howzat is working with clubs and communities across the country to get more kids reading, playing, and loving cricket – while also supporting grassroots cricket through our club cashback programme.
These interviews were a fantastic chance for us to share the story behind Howzat and show how the magazine is helping families, clubs, and schools connect with the game.
